American Hearing Care

Hearing and Balance Services

The Regional Hearing and Balance Center focuses on personal client care. Through our comprehensive assessments we can properly diagnose, and treat people suffering from Dizziness & Balance disorders, Hearing Dysfunction and Hearing Loss. Our main facility is located in the heart of Idaho Falls, Idaho; we also have local locations capable of hearing and balance assessments in Rexburg, Blackfoot and Driggs. All facilities are set-up to test, assess, treat, and manage patient care.

The Regional Hearing and Balance Center has developed close ties to each of our communities. We work closely with the local medical community to collaborate with, and maintain a consistent level of care for our patients.

Do you need a high-resolution hearing instrument? Maybe lip-reading would be helpful to you. Has your physician indicated a need for diagnostic testing or rehabilitation? No matter how great or small your needs are, The Regional Hearing & Balance Center can help you. We are a full service provider.

Although we take a lot of pride in our education and technology, we realize that these can never replace old-fashioned service. When you come to The Regional Hearing & Balance Center you're never a "number" or an inconvenience.

You are the reason we're here and we never forget that. That's why all of our testing is done by university-trained audiologists and not technicians. And because we want your hearing to have the finest care available, our audiometric equipment is electronically calibrated yearly on site.

Our testing can be relied on as a "medical" grade evaluation. We conduct the typical audiologic battery of testing including, pure tones, speech, oto-acoustic emissions, ABR and ENG/VNG (balance) evaluations. Likewise, children are evaluated with oto-acoustic emissions, ABR, and visual response audiometry, in addition to the basic battery of tests.

When we guarantee you will be satisfied with the service and the products we provide, it's not a promise we take lightly. Much of our success is due to many people, just like yourself, who have been so totally satisfied with service they have received at The Regional Hearing & Balance Center they refer friends and family again and again.

Over the years, The Regional Hearing & Balance Center has obtained an excellent reputation in the medical profession. We receive referrals from approximately 90 physicians in any given year, including: the Otologic Medical Group of Los Angeles, Primary Children's Medical Center of Salt Lake City, University of Utah Medical Center of Salt Lake City, and the Mayo clinic both at Rochester MN, and Scottsdale, AZ. All of our medically generated referrals to the clinic receive a full report of the test results with recommendations.

Hearing aid evaluations and fittings are conducted daily, the majority of which are digital instruments. Our digital hearing aids are furnished by GN Resound, Oticon, Widex, Sonic Innovations, and Siemens. We also have over 6 years experience fitting Resound instruments.

We even have a hearing aid battery club available to reduce the cost of battery purchases. Batteries can either be ordered, via the telephone, or by mail; or they can be obtained by stopping at our offices in Idaho Falls or Rexburg 5 days a week.

Our clinics offer a variety of hearing healthcare services including audiology assessments and auditory rehabilitation, as well as the sale and fitting of hearing aid instruments.
